Course Overview

A verdant parkland with majestic trees, gentle grass and serene lakes, the course at the Hertfordshire Golf & Country Club is a majestic sight. This 6,266 yards, 18-hole golf course designed by renowned course designer Jack Nicklaus II offers multiple natural obstacles, designed to test players’ skills.

The first half of the course, holes 1 to 9, are gentle and offer a few shallow bunkers and minor land hazards. But it’s the second half of the course, holes 10 to 18, which demand the highest level of skill and accuracy from players. The three water hazards are largely based in the second half; deep, well-placed bunkers surround the water hazards, necessitating players to take tricky shots to avoid getting caught in the course’s danger zones.

Highlights

Hole 15

This scenic par 3 is the signature hole at the Hertfordshire and beckons for a courageous shot over the water. The 15th hole is challenging due to the picturesque but small green, which sits 157 yards away from the back tees. Miss the mark, and you’ll find yourself drenched and drowning. Are you up for a challenge? We feel that you are…

Last but never least, our Hole 18

An avenue of trees leads you from the red and yellow tees towards the green. Accuracy is the key here. A slight miss to the left and you are out of bounds; short and right - you're in one of the two bunkers below the green; going long and more out of bounds - that's where a bunker awaits! For those hardy enough, the shot from the white tees is all about the belief. The greens lays only 184 yards away, just a 150 yard carry over water and two bunkers are between you and a impressive finish to your round. A beautiful rewarding finale!
