ASSISTANT GREENKEEPER

Department: Golf

Reports to: Head Greenkeeper

Hours per Week: Full Time- 40 hours (Weekend rota: 1 in 3 in the Summer months,1 in 4 in the Winter months)

Pay: £26,500-28,000 GBP annually

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join the greenkeeping team at the Hertfordshire Golf & Country Club. We are seeking an Assistant Greenkeeper who has a positive attitude with a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn and progress their continuing professional development.

General Purpose:

Responsible for maintaining and enhancing the overall appearance and playability of the golf course. This includes tasks such as mowing greens, fairways and tees, maintaining bunkers, strimming, applying fertilisers, operating and maintaining equipment and ensuring all playing surfaces are kept to the highest standards.

Requirements for this position:

· Two years’ experience of working on golf courses or in the sports based/ landscaping industry.

· Qualifications desirable but not essential as full training will be provided

· A team player with strong attention to detail

· Good time management and communication skills

· Weekend work on a rota basis

· A full UK driving license

· Physical stamina to perform manual labour in varying weather conditions.

Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences:

· Ability to read, speak, write and type English is required.

· Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

SELF- EMPLOYED FITNESS INSTRUCTOR (HIIT, AQUA AEROBICS, LBT, CIRCUIT, CLASSES)

About the Role: Are you a passionate and motivated fitness instructor looking to work on your own terms while earning a competitive hourly rate? We are seeking skilled self-employed fitness instructors to lead engaging and energetic fitness classes, including HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training), Aqua Fitness, and LBT (Legs, Bums, and Tums).

Requirements:

· Certified fitness instructor qualification (e.g., Level 2/3 Fitness Instructor or equivalent).

· Specialization or experience in HIIT, Aqua, and LBT classes.
