Job Description:
Ready for your next step? This is an opportunity to work with our established team in a busy environment covering everything from breakfasts, lunch, buffets, banqueting and barbecues.
We are looking for someone with energy and enthusiasm, with a passion for learning and for great food.
To work 40hrs per week, 5 days out of 7, to include weekends and some evenings. Whites and PPE supplied, staff discount and off peak use of facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
· Food Preparation and Cooking:
Prepare fresh ingredients, cook dishes to order, and ensure food is presented to the required standards.
· Maintaining Quality and Hygiene:
Adhere to food safety regulations, monitor portion control, and manage waste to maintain high standards. Fill in daily delivery record sheets and temperature monitor sheets.
· Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with other chefs and kitchen staff, communicating effectively with kitchen staff and departments to ensure smooth operation and timely delivery of dishes.
· Menu Development:
Contribute to the creation of new dishes and menus, working with senior chefs.
· Inventory Management:
Assist with monitoring inventory and ensuring adequate stock levels. Assist with monthly stock take.
Skills and Qualifications:
· Culinary Expertise:
Strong cooking skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques.
· Leadership and Communication:
Ability to supervise and motivate a team, as well as communicate effectively with colleagues.
· Time Management:
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively under pressure.
· Problem-Solving:
Ability to troubleshoot issues and find solutions to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
· Food Safety Knowledge:
Understanding and adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
· Experience:
Several years of experience in a professional kitchen essential.
Must have own transport.
